The Friends of Asian Art Association is an all-volunteer organization. We invite all persons who share an interest in Asian arts and cultures to become a FA3 volunteer. Opportunities as a volunteer with the organization abound, and include but are not limited to the following:
FA3 Newsletter Contributor:
If you would like to share an article, review, travel adventure or other information related to various aspects of Asian arts and cultures, we welcome your contributions. If you are a graphic artist, this is a particular skill that would be welcomed, also. For further information on submissions and deadlines, contact: friendsofasianart3@gmail.com.
FA3 Program and Events:
If you have a particular skill as a speaker or presenter and would like to create a program for FA3, or if you can provide support for FA3 programs or activities as a volunteer, your expertise is welcomed. In addition, a variety of different support assistance opportunities are available for the various FA3 programs offered each year. These include: Program/event development, Program/event marketing and promotion; Program/event assistance (set up/take down, audio-visual assistance, greeting and registration intake at a program or event). FA3 Marketing and Promotion:
Assistance in marketing FA3 programs and events as well as memberships and donor contributions throughout the year are an important part of the organization. Creating and disseminating flyers and information to promote FA3 and its activities is a key component required. Community Outreach and Capacity Building:
Locating special groups, individuals, activities and locations for FA3 programs, e.g., speakers, facilities, artists, musicians, experts, etc., is an ongoing requirement throughout the year. To become involved in community outreach and capacity building for FA3, contact: friendsofasianr3@gmail.com.
FA3 Fundraising and Grants Writing:
Corporate giving, major gifts, fundraising, grant proposals, planned giving and capital campaigns are all part of fundraising efforts.
